I proudly serve as the president of National Dairy Council and immediate past-chair of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation and have been committed to cultivating a culture of wellness for more than 30 years. I am a native of Chicago, and one of my personal passions is to lead the new way people talk about nutrition and agriculture.
As a dietitian and a mother, I am passionate about child health and wellness. I was one of the four principal architects of Action for Healthy Kids, and have served on the Leadership Round Table for GENYOUth Foundation. At home, I enjoy helping keep my family healthy and active by encouraging them all to eat right and get at least 10,000 steps a day
Nutrition is made possible by the farmers who produce the food. I hope to broaden the conversation about food to include more about what is happening on the farm. Learn with me on my journey to connect dietitians with farmers, as I share my stories to help people learn more about nutrition, agriculture, and sustainability.
